That pricing is rough. I'll probably still go, but I was planning on me and the lady each doing the two bottle tour. I'm not paying $110 for 4 bottles of beer though.

Same... and I'm not dying to have this bottle, nor send it out to trade buddies. So I think the wife and I will just stick with the $35 option. $70 for two bottles and a tasting doesn't seem too bad for 2 people.

I also don't exactly remember going nuts over this beer.

Tour is included in all of those packages. Legally has to be, by my understanding. You're paying for the tour first, bottles are the "souvenir" part.

Other moves I should make in Athens? I'll have to drive afterwards so preference towards package, but that can mean growlers or cans/bottles, and I can have a beer, just not a bar tour

Did you make any plans?

I'd check the tap list at Trappeze... it can be really, really hit and miss. Last 2 times I've gone there I've actually walked out without even ordering a beer their tap list was so bad. Check out Catch 22, that's my preference these days, and the food is awesome.

In a weird way, I almost hope creature comforts gets fined for this. The community will without a doubt step up to ease the burden (though I doubt they need the help), and perhaps it would spark a lawsuit for a much bigger fight that should have already happened to begin with.

Yeah, terrapin or SweetWater would be more ideal. The risk of losing creature to another state (though I wouldn't blame them) would be a HUGE blow to this state. I would probably quit craft beer altogether and move on to craft soda.

Yes. But they only had 1 tour option, which was still completely legal under the bulletin.

I'm not there yet, still ridin the desk at work. To be honest, I usually just go to Catch 22 or Trappeze for drinks but both places don't seem to have it on. Any recs?
