This is the Recipe for Fall Down Brown. My friend got the recipe from the Great Fermentations website:
9.5# 2 row
.5 chocolate malt
1# crystal 120
.5 biscuit
1 oz glacier at 60
.5 oz cascade at 15
mash 152 for 60 mins
S05 yeast

I think the 1/2 # chocolate and the full pound of crystal 150 L are a bit much. I have brewed brown ales with 1/4# chocolate and much lighter crystal malt. I think the 1/2# of chocolate will be harsh and the full pound of dark crystal will be too rum-like or dark fruit flavoured.

.5 lb of chocolate malt isn't too much. 1 lb of C120? Perhaps.

My brown ales get good reviews, and I use .5 lb of chocolate and 1 lb of C60 (along with .5-1 lb rolled oats and .75 lb Victory). Your recipe looks good, but you might think about going with a lighter Crystal if you're not 100% down with the 120.
