I'm brewing the famous Cream of Three Crops recipe tonight, actually my strike water is heating as I type. Here's the recipe for reference:

Since the thread is VERY long, too long for me to sort through, has anyone ever added lactose to this in the boil for residual sweetness? If not, how do you think it would work out?
I'm about 2 hours away from my boil, and it's going to be a 90 minute boil, so essentially I'm 3+ hours away from needing to know if lactose is a good idea or a not so smart idea.
Any responses appreciated ahead of time!
Oh, and I'm drinking Hess Brewing's (San Diego) Grazias, a Vienna style cream ale. Cheers my friends!
