If this is the recent list then I can't grant but I noticed a lot of lists are the same. Until I came here, I never heard of any of these beers. I know I can't get any of these in Raleigh NC. I hope there is a list very soon that I can get in on. :( I want to play.

I was about a mile southwest of the riverwalk. Somebody on untappd, forget who, recommended the Esquire Tavern. It was a cool spot, check it out if you're there.

I've seen some modern times floating around on here in emaws and haven't had it before.. Just saw they posted their scaled down recipes on beersmith

I know many people don't like rating sites, but after listening to the Rate Beer interview on The Brewing Network, I decided to check out the Best Beer lists. Modern Times came in at #9 on the Best New Brewers list. I'll be trying to check them out at some point. :)

Im so excited to try all of these, especially the homebrew. totally going to steal the yeast out of that pliny clone! You sir pack beer like a pro, when i drove up and saw the box on my porch i just knew they were broken in there, the box wasn't even box shaped anymore. Thanks a ton for all of this :)

Glad they all made it. I learned about packing after my first swap o Rama where some things broke. Now I try to pack them like a maniac.

The homebrew is bitter as hell. Lol. Some like it some don't. I've come a long way brewing since jan of 2013 but there's a lot of room for improvement.

Hopefully there's a few things in there your wife will like as well. Enjoy and Cheers!

Mad elf is her favorite beer that she has been able to try, I fully plan on cloning it soon so if i can ninja some yeast from that bottle that will be sweet since i cant get it here I've only ever had 2 others from trades :) And I love me some IPAs and bitterness so im super excited :) they are all warming up in the fridge for me when i get home :)

Is there live yeast in Mad Elf? If so, I'm going to start conserving. I've been drinking them lately.

Hopsy dazy is a pretty damn good session IPA. They just released snozberry(spelling is off) stout and I am looking forward to trying that. The snaggletooth is excellent as well.

Here is my package from the pink llama:

Schlafly Biere de Garde
CIB Morningwood sour breakfast ale
Perennial Peach Berliner Weisse
Bells Hopslam

Also a growler of a Martin City black saison and a sixer of various homebrews.

I'm stoked to try some new and interesting beer. I've never had anything from Bells before, or a peach BW, or an oatmeal coffee sour. I'll probably crack open the growler later tonight.

Awesome!! Glad they all made it. That growler is literally the first one filled at the new brewery on opening day. Super fresh and very drinkable for 6.7% I hope you enjoy them all!

Even if there is, which I'm not sure about, it's a pretty high abv brew and the yeast might be a bit stressed out.

Most clones seem to use WL Trappist Ale.
