Hey,

I have a cracked keg that leaks from where the plastic meets the metal at the top. Obviously I am going to retire it from its beer/soda dispensing career, but the question is what "can" I do with it? Anyone have any good ideas?

fermentation vessel. a little jb weld or some duct tape will seal it off enough for that.

Is the post fitting is leaking? I would check that firs, otherwise the rubber can be trimmed away and tig welded............Don't retire repair.....my.02

Pretty sure it isn't the post. It is coming from under the rubber.

I like the cut the rubber away and weld.
My first thought was to cut the hole out at the top, and weld it into a sanke for a 15 gallon SS fermenter (but that's just me :)
