1.) I forgot to smack my yeast pack and poured the contents in separately

2.) the recipe had 2 types of yeast, I thought I was suppose to add both, which I did, but later was told I was only to pick one of the two (friend)
 
Pitching the smack pack without a starter may have been an under pitch, depending on the age of the yeast and the OG of your beer. Using both yeasts probably will give you a good ferment.

Temperature control is most important now for a good beer.
 
White labs 320 American hefe and wyeast 1010 American wheat....Jo just thought it would have told me to choose one or the other, it had both in the recipe. The air lock is bunking pretty good right now
