I have a batch of golden ale that’ll be 2.75 once racked. I have a 5 lb bag of corn sugar but no measuring scale to get precise oz. Can anyone tell me what amount I would need as far as TBSP, cups, etc?

There isn't a substitute for weighing the sugar. It settles in shipment, it gets fluffed up when you pour it out, it gets packed when you scoop it. Bite the bullet and buy a cheap scale. They are often available at thrift stores for a buck or 2 or you can order one. Here's one on Ebay for $10 that will weigh up to about 7 pounds.

I used a calculator online one time for something . It's been a while but it was 1 tbsp of sugar equals how many ounces . I used Google.

I will add that I purchased this $10 scale off Amazon and I am very happy with its performance. I use it for both measuring beans for espresso and for measuring oz of hops and grams of water adjustments. I used it recently for measuring grams of priming sugar for botting a 6 pack of a hop sampler batch.

Edit: it looks like the exact same one linked above from eBay.
