Corded Drill Question for Monster Mill

I just built a mill station for my new monster mill 2 package from NB. It says the drive is 3/8", but it's a tad larger 1/16" so about 7/16 probably. I saw some others in here filed it down to 3/8". Anyway, could I use a 1/2" chuck heavy duty drill from Harbor Freight that many others seem to recommend here. Or does it need to be 3/8" drill.

A 1/2" chuck will fit anything 1/2" or smaller so you would be fine.
