Copper Tubing-- where to buy?

Where's the best place to buy copper tubing for making your own Counter Flow Chiller? I've heard some people use EBay-- but I'd be willing to pay another 10 bucks or so to get it at an actual store. Do stores like Home Depot carry this stuff at a reasonable price?

Try ace hardware if possible for some reason its cheaper there than at home depot or lowes.

In my area HD is much cheeper than Lowes for copper tubing. When I built mine I think the price at Lowes was 75% higher.

That seems to be a great price compared to what I paid at Lowes... Wish I had seen this last month.

High price? I got 2 feet of 1/2" inner diameter for $4 at home depot. They cut it for you for free.

Look in the yellow pages for a plumbing supply house. I get any length I want and at a price well below Lowes or Home Depot.

I read in another forum that scrap yards sometimes have good copper stockpiles. I plan to visit the local place today for another project I'm working on.
