Copper tubing for IC

Do you guys see any reason why this copper tubing would be bad for using as an immersion chiller?

It's way bigger than necessary.... maybe even way bigger than can actually be used? Can you actually get 50' of 5/8" copper coil sumberged in your kettle?

If wrapped around a pin lock keg, I figure it would be about a foot in height. That'll probably stick out of my wort, but it would be submerged if/when I start doing larger batch sizes.
