Guys, I need just a small length of copper refrigeration tubing for my dip tube project. Does anyone know what hardware stores or chain plumbing stores sell this in foot increments??? Or any other ideas of what I can use for a dip tub besides sweating or SS?
thanks
Charlie

do you have a local mom and pop hardware store... the old school store with more stuff piled up everywhere? Most of those places will cut you off a piece. Another option would be to find someone in the area who is installing AC systems and get a piece of scrap.

how long of a section do you need, and what diameter? perhapse someone would be willing to drop a few inches in an envelope for you...

if i have the size you are looking for i could spare 34 cents if it isnt too heavy for a standard letter envelope...

<insert various "drop a few inches of something-or-other" jokes here>

Hey guys thanks for the replies, I ended finding some scrap from a guy on craigslist! Now I have to go back to hd because my compression fitting was missing the sleeve!
