HI folks, i'm going to brew this up tommorrow. This is my first time using base malt.
Basic outline:
1. Mash 4lbs of MO is a grain bag for 60min @ 65-68
2. Sparge by removing the bag and putting it into my kettle for 10min
3. Boil for 15min with 1oz of williamette hops
4. Add can of coppers - 3.75lbs - at flame out.
5. Cool and pitch in 20L total.
Any opinions? I'm totally open to adjustments. Like i'm thinking of adding 12oz of cane sugar to get the ABV up around %5.
Thanks!
Update: I used 8oz of DME instead duh! Forgot i had a little bit. It will be an interesting brew, huge amount of foam on top of the bucket right now!
