Hey all.
I have found some brewing sugar at the supermarket and am thinking of try it (i usually use normal white sugar). It is as the title says coopers brewing sugar. it has dextrose and maltodextrin. i am wondering if the non fermentable sugar in it will leave a wrong reading on the hydrometer?
IE i usually bottle something .010 at finish if it has stayed constant for 24 hours, if its higher than that ill usually introduce more heat and or yeast to get it to start and finish fermentation.
could i expect it to be higher if i have more non fermentable sugar from the coopers sugar in it?
cheers MK
