Hi Guys,

Recently upgraded my Extract equipment to All Grain. After trying a few suggestions and wasting money on stuff that doesn't work, here is what I came up with that works, total cost? $72 bucks.

48 Gallon Cooler
For Mash Tun
$20.00

Ball Valve for Cooler (with washers)
To make it easy to drain mash tun (optional)
$28.00

Extra Large BIAB Bag
To contain the grain (tried a bazooka tube, but its too slow)
$9.00

20qt pot
For Strike Water (optional)
$15.00

Sounds good......but the one thing I've learned over the years is that this hobby has a way of always liberating more cash from your wallet then you ever thought possible;)

I made a new mash tun couple months back. I used 1/2inch Cooper drill small holes every 1/4 inch with 4 elbows in it to make a square on bottom of mash tun. Hook to discharge with Tee fitting. Never had a stuck sparge and cost under 10 bucks. No bags needed. If I new how to post pics I would put one up for you.
