Can somebody help me convert a Troegs Perpetual Recipe from all grain to extract please?
Heres what I have for equipment:
5 Gallon brew pot: Starting out with 2 gallons to steep add 1 for the boil, and after evap, I usually end up with about 2.5 gallons of wort. I add that to about 2.5 gallons of water (or whatever it takes to hit OG) for fermenting ending up with 5 gallons of beer.
Heres the grain bill I need to convert:
Weyermann® Pilsner Malt 11.0 lb 81 % Mash 37 1 °L
Briess Munich Malt 10L 1.5 lb 11 % Mash 35 10 °L
Briess Caramel Malt 20L 1.0 lb 7 % Mash 34 20 °L
Last question.....do I need to adjust my hops for this conversion.
Beersmith has me turning a 60 minute hops addition to a 35 minute.
To me.....that tells me I didnt use the software correctly.
Im not really a newbie, but by no means am I very experienced either.
Thanks for the help
