I'm thinking this is the forum where someone can advise me on a controller for my HopRocket, for temperature control during mash recirculation. I have the components shown in the attached picture. If anyone reading this has direct experience please give me some feedback on how to go about this. I would rather buy a controller, but the Blichmann stuff is usually way out of my budget. I already own the HopRocket setup. If it is not too involved I could build a controller.

I also attached a couple of pictures of my current build, which is progressing well. It is a modification of my original 3 vessel rig to a single vessel Brew-In-A-Basket-In-A-Keggle one. BIABIAK I suppose, haha. Sounds Eskimo or something. The strainer basket on the hoist will be replaced with a custom basket, once I am sure of it's dimensions. Still working that out.

Thanks in advance for your feedback, and Happy New Year.

If you’re looking to buy, I’d start here https://www.auberins.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=64_66&products_id=833

If you want t build, it can be done pretty easily.
Thanks d3track! I think I would consider building one if it will save me considerably compared to $300 for the CUBE 2E. That unit is a 240VAC version.........….I believe, in spite of the generic picture I provided, that my HopRocket heating element is 120VAC. I do have two pumps, one for wort and the other for chilling water, so that CUBE 2E is good other than the heater voltage. I only would need the heating element for keeping mash temperature constant, and not to boil my water/wort, which I will do with a propane burner. Any other suggestions given those requirements? Are there DIY build plans here on the HB website, or readily available plans tried and true by members, etc?
