Hey all,
I am on my fourth brew, the first three came out well enough.
I am afraid I have contamination with this one though, see the attached picture. There are definitely colonies floating at the top of my brew. I am hoping they are yeast colonies but have never seen them float before.
The beer is a Belgian Dubbel, I used this kit:
https://www.northernbrewer.com/belgian-dubbel-extract-kit
I used the Wyeast 1214 Belgian Abbey yeast with a yeast starter. The brew sat in a bucket for primary fermentation for 2 weeks and has been in secondary fermentation for three weeks.
Any advice would be appreciated!
