I first had Big Cranky when it came out in stores and my store priced them at $6.99 per 4 pack of 16 oz cans. Its not a very good beer at all, but at that price I'd be willing to get it once and awhile. I don't know if that was a pricing error or a temporary thing, but they're back up to $12-ish and I will definitely never buy it at that price. Great facility, below mediocre beer in my book.

What can y'all tell me about Stony Creek beers?

Can you buy beer at Kent falls or is it just sold in bottle shops? Any bottle shops that usually carry it? I'll be in Connecticut this week and I'd like to track down some.
The peach beer was released at a farmer's market in New Milford on Saturday, and sold out that day. Not sure if they set some aside for their retail accounts.

They did not set any aside for retail (not for retail now, at least), nor are kegs going out of that beer. Two kegs produced, both for events only. I followed up with the man himself hoping there might be a frew bottles kicking around somewhere. :(

Kent Falls is doing some good things. The Gardeners tale is not one of them.....that was my first drainpour in a while.

Popped two bottles of Second Nature this weekend. Can confirm that it is reeeaaalllly nice. Prominent peach character. Hooked three friends up and I've got one to pop in a couple weeks.

A real clusterfuck at Coalhouse tonight. But the cask Coconut Joy & '15 IST were both on point, so no regrets.
It was ridiculously crowded, I got there in time for a Coriolis so I left happy.

Anyone not make it to treehouse today and want a mix 4 pack of eureka and sap? Bought a little too much for my checked bag. Need it gone tonight for cost. In south glastonbury area and willing to travel a reasonable distance.

Shoot me a PM if you are interested. Otherwise I will be forced to leave it for my cousin who drinks about 1 beer a month.

ilovestouts?

Or someone grab it for me and I'll pick it up from you tomorrow...

Is that new Pioneer IPA tallboy any good? I remember their old stuff being not so great but I've been told by several people that the new stuff (new contract brewery?) is better.

I've literally never even heard of these guys, but found this article, mentioning they contract @ Shebeen, but if you go back farther on their Facebook page, they mention contracting @ Overshores... and going even farther back, it looks like they were brewing at Olde Burnside when they first moved to CT.

I read something about a new brewer too. Haven't had it though...
And their Facebook page also has a picture of their former head brewer helping with can.

I drank a single can of it the other day and it was as expected. Meh. It wasn't terrible, but with the quality of local, regional, and nationwide IPA's available these days, I won't be picking this up again.

new oec release sounds terrible. no one should go.
Terrible indeed. Anybody that's headed to this happen to have any oudilis and/or zymatore JW lees? Would be happy to bring some stuff down from Boston or something from the cellar.

Anyone have any tree house from last weeks run....or juice machine? Sending out a bunch of cans to someone and would love to send him some variety. Have Eureka and Sap to trade for things.

I also have a couple bottles. Excited to get the import on the shelf
