OEC was very good. Hoping that they expand their hours at some point. It's tough for me to get to that part of the state on a Saturday between 12-7 with a wife and kids and all.

Find somewhere around Oxford to go apple picking and take the kids. Then accidently pass by OEC on your way home.

They would be wise to that. Every time I suggest a trip to somewhere they have not been I am immediately questioned on what brewery or bar is nearby that I want to go to.....

I did not like The Hop Collective Chinook from Black Hog when I had it last week. But the other 2-3 I've had were good.

They open at noon. In the past, their email/website updates have said when some of the Zymatore bottles have been limited to 1pp. There weren't any limits noted this week. Grandis went on sale 2 weeks ago, but I wasn't there that Saturday.

Seriously, though....was a tough call between the Plan Bee release and those new OEC bottles.

But who am I kidding. My OEC attendance record is almost spotless at this point...why screw it up now?

Plus, that Tempus #2.....

They have it on tap at the brewery right now for growler fills. If it's still on tomorrow morning, maybe try to get up here earlier if you have time? Get in line @ NEBCO around 10:30ish, they open at 11, and then shoot up to OEC. Coriolis might be on tap tomorrow too.

But, I can't really help you with cans now...

Unfortunately can't get there earlier hence why I'm asking but definitely appreciate the advice. Just not in the cards, I may try to get there later in the day after OEC but who knows what'll be left.

There's a decent chance I'll be going to NEBCO Saturday at opening and then heading on to OEC afterwards. I don't have any cans but should GB still be on I could get you a growler of either the 64 or 32oz variety. Provided that you're planning on being at OEC sometime around opening since I think me and my buddy are planning to head over to Black Hog for their opening at 1.

Between this and the "double-aged" Roadsmary's Other Baby, I think Two Roads is now actively trolling beer geeks. On the plus side, it sounds like there might finally be a beer that can make for a good side-by-side with My Blueberry Nightmare.

Does anyone know why the Black Hog beer dinner at Mikro was cancelled and instead turned into a no tickets required tasting night and tap takeover? Kind of a ******** move, IMO, it basically just went from a really nice 6 course meal with beer pairings into a guaranteed ****-fest

Did they charge you for a ticket for the ticketed event that was canceled? If not, maybe it sucks, but a "******** move"? If they canceled, I would assume there was a good reason...

I can't say they are entirely trolling, I finally tried Urban Funk over the weekend and was very impressed. Still, "vinegar added" is pretty damn hilarious. As opposed to MBN which was, in fact, pure vinegar.
