Who enjoys eating a pinch of raw hops before adding them to boil? Just had a pinch of whole fuggles while making my house bitter.
and I ALWAYS huff the bags...OMG - heaven!
When I was attending college in Denver we'd zip out to Golden and hit up the Coors hospitality room a couple times a month just for the free beer. But they made you take the brewery tour - you couldn't just make a bee-line to the taps. After months of the tour I finally cracked out of sheer boredom and snatched a pinch of pressed hops from a rolling bin stationed next to one of the (humongous) boil kettles, tucked it in my cheek, and let that wad fester.
I have no idea what strain that was but, the brain-scarring impression it left on me was severe enough that by the end of the day I had switched to Crown Royal and didn't have another beer for almost two years
I wouldn't do that again for love or money...

I would not do it. I've harvested hops, washed my hands, and licked my fingers after dinner and my fingers were STILL too bitter after washing. And I like hoppy beer!
Chew on low AA hops, or even tuck 'em between your cheek & gum like you would snuff. Low AA hops aren't as bitter. I chew on 4.2% AA Goldings, though I have to spit 'em out after a couple minutes. Hhhmmmmmm; hop flavoured snuff, without the bitterness...
Might be a viable product.
