conditioning a new aluminum kettle?

So the SMWBO bought me an aluminum kettle which is a lot bigger than my stainless steel kettle and I brewed a batch a few weeks ago and forgot to boil water in it before using it.

Is there going to be any ill effects on my brew or should I just relax and wait and see?

It is "best practice" to pre boil the pot to oxidize it, at this point, You made beer, RDWHAHB, JMO.
