I am new to kegging. I have a tank and keg I have lines but no regulators. Can I use one from welding supply store instead of ordering online?

My guess is no. There may be lubricants or other chemicals that are not food safe, or may add unpleasant flavors.
I bought mine from ebay, very reasonably.

I have a gas MIG welder, and while the mixed gas regulator is functionally identical to any of my Taprite/Chudnow/Micromatic CO2 and beer gas regulators, the welding reg comes with a flow meter on the low pressure side. I'm pretty sure that's typical of welding or cutting gas rigs, and a flow meter would be utterly useless for dispensing beer - you need a pressure gauge on the low side, not a flow meter.

But for $10 or less one could find a 0-60 psi gauge, swap out the flow meter and be good to go.
Not a recommendation, just relating what could be done...

Cheers!
