so im gonna make a kegerator out of a chest freezer and was looking to have 2-3 kegs running at once my question is what size co2 bottle am i gonna need ?

20 lbs will last you more than a year. Bigger is better for co2 but must people use a 5 lb tank which will carb/serve 7-8 kegs on average.

Any size will work. Smaller tanks take up less space and are often cheaper to buy. Bigger tanks obviously last longer between fills/exchanges, and are much cheaper per pound to fill/exchange.
