Cluster hops - why are they not more popular?

I can't say much that hasn't already been said but 2 of my best batches used Cluster as the bittering hops.

The Cluster hops I recently used in an ESB have an unpleasant sharpness.
Or I miscalculated the bitterness.

I use cluster in my blond beer and its a huge hit, its not the bitterness that people use it for its got a good flavor if placed right, I have it as a first wort in my smash blond beer and its perfect when placed right in a recipe

oh and I'm drinking one right now

i love cluster hops use it in all my stouts and i even made a cluster pale ale which was awesome..its all subjective i quess

I've enjoyed them in the past. Not so much this time.
