I recently picked up two 5 Gallon Icing buckets from walmart. Question. What is a good and easy way to clean them good begore fermentaion?

I used hot water and a clean washcloth to get the residual icing out and then a hot Oxyclean (or PBW) soak. Good rinse and you are ready to go with sanitizing.

I'd go with warm water and a non-abrasive sponge then the PBW soak. Usually I soak my buckets overnight out of sheer laziness.

I got 2 buckets, One i cleaned with water+dish soap and vinager. I havent cleaned the second one yet but i will tonight before my next brew. Is there home remedys that i can use that will sufice.

I have the sanitizer that im using prior to putting the brew in.

Hot hot water and detergent!

Like PBW or dishwasher detergent, frosting is oil base, so you need to cut w/ detergent / soap and rinse hot several times till squeaky.

Not difficult
Cheers!
