I'm going to do an IPA with Nelson and Sorachi Ace. Somehow I have acquired a large bag of lemons, and was toying with the idea of squeezing the juice of half a dozen lemons into the boil kettle. Anyone done this? Am I setting myself up for disappointment?

I did a lemon blonde ale using the zest of three lemons for a 5G. Added in secondary. It turned out quite nice and scored a 34/50 in comp. Iv never used juice. I'd probably zest em and use the rest to make lemonade.

I can't wait to do my nelson sorachi ipa. I wouldn't do it to that beer, but if I did I would do zest at 5 minutes.

The secondary would be good because you could taste it before you added.
