Brewing tomorrow and have a recipe that calls for a cinnamon stick near the end of the boil. Once I get down to temp to pitch yeast, should I transfer cinnamon stick to primary during fermentation or trash it? I'm thinking the cinnamon flavor will be extracted at end of boil, so not sure I want a whole lot of the cinnamon coming through in the final product.

spices fall into the same category as hops,I don't think alot of flavor would be isomerized post boil and most of the aroma would be scrubbed out during fermentation.Either way I don't think would make that much a difference.

Thank you for the reply alane1. Much appreciated. I'll just leave it behind.
