Saw on the other channel that people were getting emails about the first bottle. Logged into my account and sure enough the first bottle is listed as an order with my card and glass. The bottle is Trousseau, a Barley Wine-style ale aged in Madiera barrels.

Looks like the B1 Sac Beer Group Teku. They are on to Tacobutt now.

Pleasantly surprised at how quick the first beer release was. The way they warned about the club not starting right away I thought we may be in for a bit of hiatus.

The 4th Edition of El Catador Club officially begins today on the 4th of July!

Starting at 11am, your new membership card and glass are available for pick-up in the tasting room. Your 10% discount begins today. Reminder that we are closing early today, 4pm.

Also, the first bottle is available: Trousseau Madeira Barrel-aged Barley Wine-style Ale.

"A truly unique trans-atlantic pairing, Trousseau is a barley wine-style ale aged in wooden barrels sourced from the Madeira islands off the coast of Portugal. The beer's nose of plums and toffee is perfectly complimented by vanilla and caramel-covered apple aromas from these barrels not frequently used for aging beer. Oxygen ingress during the barrel-aging process helps to accentuate flavors of tawny port, raisin pudding and toffee in this viscous, contemplative sipper."

For those who have entered the lottery, we will begin the drawing for that TOMORROW. You will receive an automatic email indicating whether you've been chosen or not. Reminder that if you're chosen, you'll have 72 hours to make the purchase. If spots remain after that 72 hours, we'll run the lottery again until every spot is filled.
