outskirts has been my favorite so far. Some of the early ones that I didn't care for got much better with age. Mainly Don G and Forgotten Island. Also really enjoyed opal after being dissapointed we got another barley wine. Generally don't like that style of beer.

I just open and shared my bottle of Opal last night. Was a big hit, I thought it was very well done.

Anyone had Dioscorides and care to share their opinion?

Had a draft pour (which matters IMO with BA stuff) and thought it was delightful. It's thinner than other CCB stouts as it's easy to drink, but it isn't thin. Just thinner than expected. I had it side-by-side with '14 Huna and they were about the same as far as feel goes.
If you like rye whiskey barrels it comes through really well. Certainly not hard to pickup the barrel. Was impressed with hold long all the flavors stuck around in my mouth considering it wasn't a really thick stout. Unique additions but nothing weird from the seeds or whatever else they used.

I didn't pickup much licorice from the draft and for me that's a good thing.

That was how I responded to the survey. But that's never stopped them from inviting Mazurt. Did they ever go legit?
Still claiming they will but not as of yet. I think the marketing side of the operation wants it and speaks to doing it while the brains (and brewer) is content keeping it low key

And opening a brewery in this worst in the union beer law state is just ludicrous

Wonder if the little store by my house will get them, they still have regular zhukov sitting around. It's not selling well, I don't know if they'd want even more that would just sit on the shelves for 18 bucks a bottle.
