Hoppin Frog. Boris Royale.who else uses Crown barrels? anyone had any beers out of a Crown barrel before??
I like Akavit. And am a known enjoyer of aakavit DL.Dioscorides: a Rye whiskey aged Imperial Stout with black caraway seeds. Should be interesting! Thoughts?
According to Google... Caraway seeds are highly aromatic and have a distinctive earthy anise flavor. They pack a lot of punch for such tiny little seeds. Most recipes only use a teaspoon or less. What the **** do caraway seeds taste like?

They have a distinctive earthy anus flavor ? Not sure I'm gonna like that.
Honestly it is less sweet than anise and more savory. Rye bread is the best word I have for it. It complements the soy sauce well.
Drank it, enjoyed it and I don't like licorice. Even looking for it I didn't pick up much of any.Well god damnit. Keep licorice the **** out of my beer.
I thought it was the "they might do another DB Huna" club.Cmon guys, if you haven't realized by now that this is for the most part an experimental club, you're doing it wrong![]()
