I'm not on BA so I don't know what's going on over there, but i'm highly surprised there hasn't been one ISO for Endless Nameless on this site. Not that it matters to me, i'm drinking mine, but have El Cat beers become so undesirable elsewhere?

One of the undesirable El Cat beers was Double Barrel Hunaphu?

The Americano trades "high" as well, and more importantly, tastes good. People seemed to want the Sherry Zunkov too.

I have no idea about the AB Huna but my fingers are crossed for another batch of Nora.
Nor* not Nora.

There was an entire entire series between Hill, CCB, Siren, Grassroots, etc. Not sure if this is all of them.

Honestly I'd just like them to release the final bottle and decide what the future of El Catador is. I fell like they started out 2nd Edition really strong and just fizzled out...
I'd be shocked if there is a 3rd Edition and more shocked if I renew

As someone living in the same city as you, yet 2,500 miles away from CCB, I've been really happy with El Catador. The momentum definitely slowed to a grinding halt, but I generally think El Cat is well run. I'd definitely renew. The one improvement I'd love to see is for them to open up online sales for their regular offerings much like The Bruery does.

That being said, we need to get together for a bottle share since you probably are my neighbor.

I'll happily take over your account as is and will trade you for the 5th bottle.

Not sure how CCB could be doing this club any better, they are miles ahead of other clubs I've been in. I mean, I could trade you my JWB membership for your CCB membership, so you know what real butthurt should feel like.

I've been pretty happy with El Cat. Do I need to have all my beers right now? Nah, I can wait for it.
I'd think that if they're taking their time, have some stuff going on, they'll eventually give us the 5th bottle which makes the society go that much longer and extends our bills into a longer society.

I'd hope/think again the society would go on. Not like springhouse brewery where they screwed up everything and won't do the society again (that was a joke...but probably one of my fav tekus I own).

ha, you're assuming I don't already have a wakefield membership

This is what I've been hoping for

I was fine with the relatively slow pace until now I guess. I mean wtf, they could've brewed anything and ba'ed it by now. Even if it was infected I feel like they're been enough time for a redo.

Been waiting for El Cat 3... let's go!

I don't mind having to wait, I just want El Catador to continue - it seems like every reserve club shuts down after a year or two. It makes it a lot easier to get bottles from my favorite brewery.

CCB can pull a Wakefield at this point for all I care. Next beer in 2 years? No prob. I just like having guaranteed access to some of their best **** and hunahpu day tickets.

Perhaps I need to modify my previous praise.

A couple weeks back, my trustee attempted to retrieve my El Cat lottery bottles. (I know it's a bit late, but he's a busy guy and a brewer for another place) I was very fortunate with the lotteries and was able to purchase five bottles. When my trustee went to pick them up, he was told that they had no record of me winning the lotteries. I ended up calling CCB and spoke with Coral about it. I provided her my order numbers and after she looked them up, she apologized and told me to tell my trustee to come back in. No problem. Mistakes can happen.

Fast forward to today, about six weeks later. (Yep, he's still a busy guy.) He goes to get the bottles and is again told that they have no record of them. This time is is armed with my receipts and order numbers. He also speaks to the bar manager (my trustee didn't tell me his name). The bar manager apparently tells him that their server (the one that we paid a higher CCB membership fee in order to correct problems like this) has been having a lot of issues with regards to the lottery bottles, so they can't give any until they figure out what's going on. WTF? They have my receipts. They can't cross-reference them with anything else? This problem has been going on for at least six weeks, so what is their actual timeline? I've waited this long to get my bottles so I can be patient, but I feel really bad for my trustee who has to keep going back just to get run around.

This one will be "to be continued".

If that is a problem it's understandable, but shouldn't they be proactive communicating that kind of thing to members?

I'm just happy they are doing round 3.
And I'm just happy at the thought (dream) of a BA Huna being part of the next round.

That or some of those other BA Zhukovs that they had labels made for.
