I would cut somebody if Murcielago ended up being a Catador beer like they were originally planning.
I remember trying this when I was at the tasting room last winter. Holy **** it was bad. Couldn't finish the taster, and the bartender agreed that it was terrible. She was telling me how hardly any of the staff liked it and that it "smelt like fish" in the whole brewery when they were kegging it the day before. Awful beer.

I ordered a glass when it was on tap. I took 5 sips. The bartender saw the look on my face and poured it out and gave me another beer. Dude next to me was raving about it though. Also, CCB just brewed a "Philly Taco" beer with Perennial. I'm ready for the Enchilada Gose.

I just freaking want a Bourbon or rye or apple brandy barrel-aged Marshal Zhukov's or Hunahpu's. No cumin infused beer, no blueberries or cucumbers, no orange peel. Just a good CCB Stout. BA Caffe Americano was pretty good. Double Barrel Hunahpu's was pretty good (although, I liked 2014 Regular Huna more). Sherry Zhukov's was a betus bomb.

Back to wanting bottle #4...

Totally agree. Caffe American was great. I was most excited about this el cat batch when I saw the Bourbon MZ label, really hoping that is released. Hate to say it but I'm glad to hear that monstrosity of a Barleywine was dumped due to infection. I just want them to stick to some awesome BA stouts and a Barleywine here and there.

I was excited about that Barleywine. :(

Well well well......

Well it's official, Endless Nameless is beer number 4.

We brewed this imperial stout with Summit and Chinook hops and aged it in bourbon barrels from Heaven Hill Distilleries. After perfecting the recipe for this beer we noticed some partial bags of grains in the brewery and decided to add that to the mash. The small amounts of rye added due to this blends nicely with the bourbon since it too has rye in the grain bill. You'll notice that this imperial stout is considerably drier than our other imperial stouts. The final ABV on this beer is 13.4%.

Your bottle is ready to be picked up in our tasting room by yourself or your trustee.

There will be no additional bottle sales of Endless Nameless Bourbon Barrel-aged Imperial Stout. We bottled enough to satisfy the club, and the rest has gone to draft.

I'm not on BA so I don't know what's going on over there, but i'm highly surprised there hasn't been one ISO for Endless Nameless on this site. Not that it matters to me, i'm drinking mine, but have El Cat beers become so undesirable elsewhere?

I'm thinking about ISO more.

I saw a dude offering a cycle instawhale for one. He listed most of them FT.

But yeah, not a huge demand for these beers it seems. Fine with me, hell I traded an LPF to get another Rum Barrel Caffe.

I feel bad that I traded both of my caffe away. Absolutely loved that beer.
