Yeah I feel ya man. I freakin love Surette and Vielle, but even at the reduced price of 9 bucks a 375ml it's just too expensive to make a habit out of it.

I should really start homebrewing again, not that my beers were anywhere near CS though lol, but I had 3 nice fruity berliners before it all went to ****. Worked out to like 34 bucks for 2 cases, so 4.25 a six pack which is a hell of a deal for a sour bomb.

Then they all started smelling like cheese and nail polish.

Crooked Stave beers were $8 at the brewery. I continue to pay $9 all day long. I hate when I see them for $12, though. (That's why I don't shop at TW anymore.)

Oh I thought they were like 6 bucks in CO, maybe in CO distro they are, saw some post about it once. I mentioned it on facebook and TW in boca lowered the price to 9 bucks a pop as a result, so that was cool.

Cascade beers cost a fortune at retail anywhere outside of OR. They're a joke here in PA too. You'd think they were loons.
They are way more expensive than Loons. Bourbon Plague turds it up here at $55+ per bottle. Even Fou Foune would sit for awhile at that price.

What they charged for them online was already at the upper limit of what I'd pay for them. Especially considering i had to have them shipped to boot which drove their cost up further.

I recently bought two Fou Foune bottles at 60 bucks a piece, had to pay bar price but I can't ever find that bottle retail anywhere. I really wanted more Bootsy too and I knew they would be able to get some.

Fou Foune for Bootsy.

No idea on new beers, but im glad I'm not getting emails all the time about buying a shirt. I'd get excited over every email only to find out there wasn't any beer or update on beers, just a reminder that I could buy a shirt. Or that their discontinuing the worlds shittiest growler.

Have they even bottled triple barrel Huna yet?

I heard that they stuck it in more barrels and will now be a quad barrel.

I heard they had to dump an entire batch of what was to be one of the two remaining bottles for this year's membership. Can anyone confirm? I believe it was this one...

Heh. If this got dumped...I guess the beer's name and the catchy phrase on the side of the bottle ended up being pretty prophetic and appropriate.

i think the rumours of that beers overall demise are exaggerated. i've seen photos of people taking samples of it a couple of times, as recently as last week.

I heard that after the third barrel, the beer was infected and then dumped. I heard a rumor of a Rum Barrel aged Blueberry Lemongrass Ginger White Oak Jai Alai and the return El Murcielago.

I would cut somebody if Murcielago ended up being a Catador beer like they were originally planning.

I heard they were doing a collab with Seadog for one of our last bottles, I think it was an imperial wheat ale aged in balsamic vinegar barrels with carolina reaper peppers.
