Rad if they opened extra after running out of '15. I had a great time and trusteed for a guy I owed a thank you to already! Expected that to be much worse.

Damn cracking open older bottles is a classy move. Reminds me of when Funky Buddha tapped a second Last Snow keg on the day they were doing growler fills of it to make sure everyone was taken care of.

Long line but I had a good time. We had a good group of people to stand with.

A smarter me would have stood in line with you. Instead I stood next to a group of people who loved Ratebeer (I guess that site is still around) and some drunk guy who liked spilling beer on dogs.:(

I wasn't there, but heard it was a bit rough but not intolerable. And they were "pre-checking" people early to try to speed up the line and get an estimate on how many bottles were being picked up. Sounds like they did run out of 2015 though, but folks said they opened cases of 2013-2014 to make sure everyone in line got taken care of. Smart move.
I was pretty close to the end (left shortly before 9PM) and still got 15, but would't be shocked if people after me got vintage bottles. There was still at least a handful of cases left when I left though.

Only speculation, but I think the Barleywine will be this monstrosity http://beerstreetjournal.com/cigar-city-error-establishing-database-connection/
and i think i remember word that the last mystery might be a big (12%?) sour ale aged on fruit (apricots?) but I might have dreamt that...

I dunno. Perhaps it won't be a monstrosity. Maybe just...different. lol Sounds a little out there though, I agree. As for a 12% apricot sour...I could get down with that. Hope there's another unscheduled offering before this finished up, too.

I hope they contiue in the tradition of last year and offer BA Huna as the last bottle. That would be a cool thing for them to do. Make the last bottle of every edition be a BA Huna.

I don't think it will be one of the sours. The labels for the sours were all for 22 oz bottles. All the ECC stuff should be in 25 oz bottles.

Well the Don Gavino and the collaboration sour from last year were certainly in 750's from my recollection...

Round 1 was 8/1/13 to 2/27/14 ~ 7 months

Round 2 8/4/14 to ???? > 9 months and counting

I actually didn't realize they started around the same time till I looked it up for this

Do they have a label approved for the Imperial Apricot aged in Sauterns barrels? I was under the impression that all barrel aged releases regardless of El Cat or not are going to stay in 750s.

Yes DG was, Hence all ECC bottles are 750 (25oz) so far.

No brewery can sell a packaged bottle without Label approval. CCB's history is Barrel aged beers are packaged in 750's. I can't remember a BA Beer they have done that was not in a 750. Maybe the Capricho Obscuro 12oz is an exception.

With the BA Apricot beer coming, And with the Barlywine that we have already seen, I am hoping the Apricot is not a part of the club. I would be a sad Panda with no BA Huna.

LOL yeah, and 20 bucks too, **** that nonsense. If I'm spending that kind of cash on a shirt it's either goin to be pantera, a cat in space, or a DDB Pedobear shirt.
You sure about that?

Or not made or burlap like the last one?

A limit on LC #5? I figured all their beers were pretty widely available and no limit needed. Check out your local Costco - they had them at mine for $14.99, no limit.

Damn, I like that price. No limit at total wine here but at 22.99 I can't convince myself to grab em right now.
ABC had them for like 20 last year? No limit either.
Seems like Florida charges 3-6 bucks more on a lot of beers, I know we are getting screwed on Cascade beer. I can get Blueberry for 21 bucks online, they charge 30 here. After shipping cost though it doesn't matter.

Hell they were charging 42 for Elderberry at one point. At least Jai Alai is only 11 bucks, and Founders is always a good price.

Yea, no. 4 was like 19.99. Loved it and I am sure this is good but I have a lot of other stuff my money needs to go to right now and can't justify 22.99 at the moment.

Yeah I feel ya man. I freakin love Surette and Vielle, but even at the reduced price of 9 bucks a 375ml it's just too expensive to make a habit out of it.

I should really start homebrewing again, not that my beers were anywhere near CS though lol, but I had 3 nice fruity berliners before it all went to ****. Worked out to like 34 bucks for 2 cases, so 4.25 a six pack which is a hell of a deal for a sour bomb.

Then they all started smelling like cheese and nail polish.

Cascade beers cost a fortune at retail anywhere outside of OR. They're a joke here in PA too. You'd think they were loons.
