That system appears to use proprietary filters, and it also has a DI stage which imo is unnecessary for brewing. I would look for a system that uses industry standard 2-1/2" x 10" white plastic housings with a sediment filter and a carbon block, and skip the DI stage. For example, this 50gpd system offered by HBT member Russ @Buckeye_Hydro hits the important features, and you can communicate directly with him with any questions.

Ok. Done.

I chose to deal with Buckeye. Mainly because of the phone support.

As a Canadian, amazon seemed better at first, due to the high shipping cost from Buckeye.

Russ was very helpful indeed. I think this is the only way to go. If you are going to buy a system, I think you absolutely need the phone support from Russ. There were many things I did not know, and many ordering mistakes I was about to make.

I now feel good about this

This reply is only for someone that may stumble onto the thread in the future because you've already moved forward with an appropriate solution.

The majority of systems you'll find are just a complete package with a small pressure storage tank and dispensing faucet. While not ever user/brewer needs those because they will fill their brewing system directly, one shouldn't underestimate the convenience of having a gallon of RO water at the ready.

Those systems also tend to come with a bunch of extra filters so even if you just put the tank and faucet into storage, the systems tend to be the best value given the industry standard cartridge filters.
