Made this one on October 2nd, kegged it tonight.

2lb of US Chocolate malt, boiled in 2.5 gallon water ( OG 1.018), let sit till cooled down to around 75F
2 gallon Apple juice
1 gallon light Cranberry/ Raspberry juice
1 can frozen cranberry/ raspberry lemonade
1 can frozen apple/ raspberry lemonade
2lb table sugar
Safale 05 yeast

Into secondary after 10 days, bottle/ keg 16 days later

Tastes awesome already, will be doing more like these in the future

Oh, ABV came out to be 5.8% on this one

Great...just keep replying to myself..,
Final OG was 1.049
Final gravity was 1.004

Now I am done....

You "boiled" the malt? Do you mean steeped? Adding to boiling water, wouldn't that extract nasty flavors? I am just speculating.

To answer both questions at the same time;
Yes, steeped, basically started a beer without finishing it....
2 gallon, let it cool and use that with the other cider ingredients, no boiling needed at all when the grains are gone
Now, in the flavor; it is different, that is for sure. A cider with a somewhat grainy taste, but absolutely still raspberry. Some people got coffee (?) from it, but my wife and I truly get the chocolate flavors. It is carbonating very well and I will be bottling a case in about 2 weeks.
