Doesn't this have to be neutralised with a food safe acid solution to neutralise the residue? Seems like adding unnecessary process steps.
 
It seems like it would need to be rinsed to remove the chlorine, and chlorine is really difficult to remove from plastic. I didn't see anything in the description about whether it needs to be rinsed.
 
I use it and rinse afterwards. There is very little chlorine smell, and my beer turns out fine. It seems like PBW and Star San keep going up in price, and this was an economical alternative.
