What's shakin'?
My name is Blake, and I'm just getting started. I drink mostly wheats and seasonals, but I've got enough Guinness in my blood to run a pub for a night...should I get stabbed over a funnel. What a strange things to say.
Moving right along...
I've got the Cooper's Home Kit, and I'm preparing to bottle my first batch this weekend. It will be 10 days in Primary, and the gravity is steady.
I'm lookinig forward to tasting it for the first time, but I'm more anxious to learn how to make my own stuff from scratch.
Commercial stuff I like to drink, and want to make:
Blue Moon
Guinness
Sam Adams - Boston, Winter, Summer
Goose Island 312 (most cannot get it outside of Chicago - excellent wheat)
Michelob Shock Top (orange & not a regular drink for me, but still decent)
I am interested in making several different brews similar to the above line-up.
If anyone can direct me to resources for me to learn and grow big with words, I would appreciate it.
I'm excited to be here, and have dreams of one day having my own little brewery on site - open the garage and BAM! Look at those tanks!
