anybody know of a good place to get a hold of some cheap(er) calibration chems? 4 and 7. there's a bunch of online vendors but shipping gets pricey buying in larger sizes. grow shops dont seem to be any different than amazon.

just wondering if there's a vendor im missing....

you mean the little sachets of dry powder you mix with distilled?

Be careful of the ones on Amazon. A HBT member bought some and they were very old. Buy them directly from Hach

There is a verified Hach account on amazon but they seem to not keep their products in stock often is the downside. I have not found a work around for Hach's ridiculous shipping prices direct on their site.

That is what has stopped me from buying from them.

Yeah I went without a ph meter for awhile because I needed to replace my probe and refused to pay the $17 they wanted to ship it... I randomly got an amazon email saying they updated their products and hach had put replacement probes up under free for prime so I went a got it.

I love their product but for individual consumers their business model seems to be lacking in my experience at least.
