Cheap Ball Valves?

Just bought a couple of ball valves off ebay. Do all ball valves drop down in size like this? Or did I just get what I paid for?

These are 1" threads FWIW. Sorry for the crappy photo quality.

Well that makes perfect sense. I guess that's what I get for not doing any research.

These were supposed to be for the dump valve on my conical. You think it will be enough or would you find a full 1" port?

it looks like a 1/2". i can drain 10 gallons through my 1/2" f-p in under 10 minutes. so unless you need it under a few minutes, and its 300 series, id go with it.

If it was just for racking that would be fine, but I was going to use these for the trub dump. I had a 1/2" full port before and it never clogged but was a little on the slow side. I'm thinking of just getting these instead since my conical is already plastic and has 1 1/2" threads:
