Wife bought me a box of liquid Certo Fruit Pectin.

I have 5 lbs of frozen rasberries and 3 cans of rasberry pie filling.

I have no cheese cloth.

Can i mix fruit and pie filling in a bowl and use the pectin to start the cell break down?

How long should mixture sit before i add to grape juice?

NO. Fruit pectin is the opposite of what you want- you want pectic ENZYME to break down the pectin. Certo fruit pectin is what you use to make jam- to set the pectin and make it jam. It's the worst thing you could use in your wine. If you don't have pectic enzyme, then don't use anything to replace it. It's better to use nothing than to use fruit pectin.
