It's been a few years since we caught steelies that big in the Vermilion River. Walking with a cane makes it darn near impossible nowadays. Nice fish.

It snowed here today (again), so I can't even think about going out until the water warms up a little bit. BRRRRR. I did see some guys out on Saturday, in a river that flows into Lake Superior, but I didn't see them with any fish.

That is all totally badass. Trout where I fish 'em are usually under 12".

The big ones are halibut. The one being hoisted by the loader was 140lbs and the rest are 100-125lbs.

Thanks! Went out jigging this morning and got a couple of nice eaters. 20-30lbs apiece. Had these two cruise by the boat too. Happy mothers day to all the moms out there!
