It's really damn good. Tons of cherry.

Good enough to wait in line for 1pp on a Saturday morning, or good like the recent Cherry FS have been? They just posted release details and I would not be surprised to roll up on a neckbeard **** show. I go to Small Batch the least of any of the big stores in town, I'm debating sitting this one out but we shall see.

make a day of it, hops and pie and/or a call to arms

Nectarine CFP Is amazing right now, I cannot see it getting any better. Apricot FS is actually sour now as opposed to being pure apricot juice upon release, and the Small Batch collaboration might be my favorite cherry beer so far from Casey. BdG is a sour mess but the cherries give it a roundness and depth with vanilla on the back that is unreal considering the base beer.

Also big ups to Small Batch for even having bottles for tasting, considering they have to pay tax on everything they opened I thought it was an awesome gesture.

Could not disagree more on BdG, the regular casey version is delicious. Nice balance of dark fruits, casey funk, and acidity without being too sour.

I do agree that apricot is becoming more sour though, I drank a bottle a week or so ago and it was pretty sour and I got a bit of butyric acid type flavor until it started to open up a bit.

Couldn't agree more. Serious thank you to Small Batch for opening so many amazing bottles at the tasting, and providing some great older batches to purchase! Cherry Inclusion is just delicious, like a better version of mama bears sour cherry pie. Would love to see a bourbon barrel aged Casey beer in the future..

Thanks to everyone who made this event possible, especially the Casey family! Cheers

Admittedly I wasn't a fan of BdG on release but I couldn't parse anything but acidity from my pour yesterday. The Apricot FS definitely got better as it warmed for me as well but I didn't get any off flavors, just a nice Casey tartness up front with a drier apricot finish. I really like the way this year's FS have been souring and drying out, too bad it's so ******* hard to hold onto them when fresh.

Will trade SARA (Cellar member), TRB (Founder), etc for FS/Cut/FP and will buy/trade for any extras allocations of non-FS/Cut/FP beers. Love me some Casey, even EB, OT, LE, Saison, BLC, etc! Thanks!
