But that's the only difference. It's actually way more flexible than allowing trustees. I just find it funny since it seems to imply one thing but allows the opposite.
Is it actually more flexible? I didn't apply because I don't know anyone I know is going to get accepted as a member, and if I were to get in, I'd have to find myself a member who'd be willing to pick up bottles for me, which seems like it could breed extortion wherein local members look for a lot of benefit for themselves to trustee for non-local members (in a general sense - CO people are nice as hell so I'm sure it wouldn't actually get that way).
I should note I also didn't apply because I have had no interaction with Casey/haven't supported Casey at all, and therefore shouldn't be accepted, and would feel weird if I *was* accepted for some reason.
I really like how this society works, though! Good organization IMO.
