I also found the Mont Cherry FP to be clearer and significantly tastier than at WTF.

It's fantastic! If you love nectarines then you'll love it. For me, I like the Apricot Fruit Stand more. The stone fruit taste just seemed to pop more. But I'm weird...

Pop one open and enjoy the **** out of it peepz

Hnnnnnnggggggghhhhhhh

So I got my first fruit stand, a Sweet Cherry Fruit Stand dated 08/01/2014. Was this from the first fruit stand release? Is this something I need to drink right away; how do Fruit Stands with some age hold up to when they are fresh?

Some FS have held up pretty nicely and particularly the peach. I will say that the earlier FS have less fruit per pound then the ones from this year. The Balaton Cherry I think has held up better. I have a couple of the first batch of sweet cherry that I'm going to open soon.

I think Mont Cherry Family Preserve may be my favorite of the family preserves so far. Very happy the batch was so big.

I'll trade you for a fresher cherry fruit stand if you'd like. Wouldn't mind seeing how the old stuff is doing.

Website kept crashing so I figured I'd cut and paste it here in case anyone couldn't access it:

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is this invitational only? We have a limited amount of beer and time to manage this society, so we decided to make this invitational only and offer this to those who have supported us the most from our very beginning.

Are you going to be open more in 2016? Maybe, maybe not. We might be open less. For instance, we know for sure we will not be open in February 2016. There may be some months we are open more and some months we aren’t open at all.

What is the exclusive stone fruit blend going to be? Not sure yet, but we want to make an experimental blend using different stone fruits that might include apricots, plums, peaches and nectarines or some combo of that.

What bottles won’t we have early access to? Basically any beer release that has a bottle release size that is too small to allow early access to each member. So if we have 150 members, any release that is smaller than 150 bottles won’t be available to members for online purchase. This could include test batches or large format bottles. You’ll still be able to purchase these on release days as usual.

How many new members are you planning on accepting? We are not releasing that information, we don’t know.

When do we need to pick the beer up? All reserved and additionally purchased beer will be stored at our tasting room until member pick up within 3 months of any release. For example, reserve beer or additionally purchased bottles released in January must be picked up on or before April’s release. Reserve beer or additionally purchased bottles released in December 2016 must be picked up before March 2017, and so on. Any beer remaining in our possession after the 3 month pick up deadline will become property of Casey Brewing and Blending.

When can we pick up these beers? Members will be able to pick up their allotment on all scheduled release days (the first Saturday of every month, usually) or by appointment during weekdays. No weekend pick-ups will be available except on scheduled release days.

How could members lose the right to buy beer online? If you are found to be profiting financially from our beer, you will lose the privilege to our online website, no questions asked and with no refunds. Don’t sell our beer online and there won’t be problems.

Why do you make so many fruit beers? People like them? We like them? On the Western Slope of Colorado, there is a rich history of fruit production that thrives to this very day. We only use whole fruit in our production. This is expensive, time consuming and difficult to do as fruit have a limited harvest season, so we’re proud of our commitment to it. We think we’re good at it too. And it’s not done that often, especially in Colorado.

Can I split the membership with a friend? Yes, but we will only recognize the person invited as a designated member. It will be up to the member to split however they see fit.

Will you ship me my beers? No. It is illegal for us to ship. All beer must be picked up during public release days (usually the first Saturday of every month) or on a scheduled weekday. Pick-ups will not be available on weekends except for scheduled release days.

If I show up for a release, am I still eligible for limits set forth that day? Yes. Any member present on a release day will be eligible to purchase any beers released at the allowed limits.

Why don’t we get a first right of refusal for a 2017 membership? We don’t know yet if we will continue this membership in 2017.

Why don’t you allow trustees? We allow members to pick up beer for other members. We don’t have enough personnel to manage both members and trustees. There will be no exceptions to this rule in 2016.

I'm so confused. How is allowing a member to pick up another member's bottles not allowing trustees? That's exactly what a trustee would do isn't it?

I think its the same general concept but just makes it a lot easier for Troy to manage than having to keep track of a separate list of specifically identified trustees. Also probably makes it easier for members that are going to have someone picking up beer, it doesn't have to be the same person every time.

Your trustee has to also be a member though. It can't just be a random person picking up bottles for you.
But that's the only difference. It's actually way more flexible than allowing trustees. I just find it funny since it seems to imply one thing but allows the opposite.
