I have some cascade hops I was wanting to use with a porter recipe. This is my own take on a porter recipe with cascade additions for first wort hop, 30 minutes for flavor, and then at flameout for aroma.

10 lbs. Marris Otter Malt
2 lbs. Munich Malt
1/2 lb. Chocolate Malt
1/2 lb. Crystal 120
1 lb. Flaked Barley
1 oz. Cascade Pellet Hops (First Wort - 60 Min)
1 oz. Cascade Pellet Hops (30 Min)
1 oz. Cascade Pellet Hops (Flameout/10 Min. Steep)
Nottingham Dry Yeast

I know traditional porter does not use this kind of hop or this amount but I like the cascades and a hoppier beer in general.
