I have a small brain function problem that I am trying to overcome regarding carbonation of a Hop Tea to 4 volumes.
I can only reach this temperature in a corny keg (which I have)
I can only chill this to 7 degrees C (44-45F)
I only have one gauge that comes from my gas tank that can register what my calcs are saying is 44psi (I may be wrong here)
The process to me would be:
1. Fill the keg
2. Pressurise to 44psi
3. Move it to my cold room (gas is not in this space)
4. Check every 24 hours by moving back to gas cylinder, connect and check reading - topping up pressure if it has fallen
5. Once I have 2 days with no change in pressure, assume it is good to go.

THEN
I have a pressure counter filler (Micro filler 4 head) and will need to bottle from the keg
QUESTION: Do I need to make sure that the head pressure and the gas input to the filler are at the same level?

Thanks in advance for any help in moving this forwards

44PSI at 44F is more like 5 volumes.
Use a calculator or chart for the pressure at your temperature.

I'd fill the keg, purge the head space, chill, then bring back out to the gas and shake while filling with gas to get the carbonation done. This isn't beer, so I wouldn't be worried about losing foam once proteins from shaking.

Not sure about counter pressure filling, I've never done t.
