Can of Wheat LME still good??

Hi, all....So I brewed a Hop Sun clone 2 1/2 weeks ago...I used half a 3.3 can of Muntons Wheat LME. I left the remainder opened, in the can, in the fridge. I was thinking of brewing with it this weekend....it will be boiled for 60 min, which should kill botchulism........so...is it still good? Toxic?? Cause for concern??

As long as you covered it with something,it should be ok. It could absorbe other odors if not covered.

I would think it should be. Try it. Worse that happens is a "sore stomach" for a day or two. Then you can warn off the rest of us who might try it later.

well, my better judgemet (my wife!) prevailed....I spent the $5 for a bag of wheat DME....small price to pay for peace of mind and health (and home!)
