I have a 5 gallon brew that is ready to be bottled or kegged. I would prefer to keg it, however, I don't have a place to keep a 5 gallon Corny Keg chilled. I could chill it long enough to force carbonate, but then do I ruin it if I have to take it out of the fridge and let it sit un-chilled for any length of time (maybe up to a month)?

I do it all the time. Even after lagering I'll put a keg off into storage (~65F) for an indefinite period of time. Just purge the keg a few times with CO2 to get the O2 outa there, seal it with 20-30 lbs of CO2 and off to storage. Periodically I'll hit the kegs in storage with CO2 just for good measure. Read that somewhere but can't say why.. Cheers!!!

Yeah. If you don't fully carb it you'll have to do this. Otherwise the small amount of CO2 in the headspace will absorb into solution and the pressure will drop. If it drops low enough you could loose your seal.
