Ordered some hops from Rebel Brewer, they were shipped USPS. Took 5 days. I got home a little later than expected on the day they arrived. Hops sat in my mailbox a couple hours when it was around 100F outside. They were pretty warm when I got them.

Can the high heat they experienced over the five days have any adverse effects?
Anything that could effect my beer? (bacteria, oxidation)

They'll be fine. God only knows what the American hops we get in the UK have been through and they turn up in good condition.

Just got the new 2012 crop of Nelson Sauvin from New Zealand in the Brewery and they're incredible even after travelling half the way round the world.

Well, since they're dried &/or pelletized then sealed in purged packets they should be fine. I'm interested to see how the 15oz of NZ hops I ordered from midwest work out when they arrive. That's a long trip around to them then me...
